How It Works
KinFolk is a curated salon space where , a collective of experienced stylists and bring their clients into a warm, vintage-inspired environment that feels like home. Our in house employees go through our training program built from our 4 salon group CommonHaus Collective. Stylists are taught integrity both in the hair they produce and the experience they provide.
Our rental artists operate their own businesses, setting their own schedules, pricing, and services, While still being part of the KinFolk community.
Booking With Your Stylist
Our In House Stylists services can be found through our booking platform Phorest. We offer extensive services such as lifestyle blonding (lived in color) and more traditional color series like root retouches. If you have any questions about booking please feel free to call.
Because our rental stylists are independent, all appointments are booked directly with the artist. Just visit our Rental Stylists page, choose the artist whose work resonates with you, and use their provided booking link or contact info to schedule.

Hi ! I’m Anna , a gal from LA that has been in Michigan for 6 years. When I’m not outside enjoying warm weather you can find me at a techno show , thrift/antique store or at home doing yoga and crafting .
After 7 years of cutting hair I have gravitated towards a slightly edgy aesthetic and love creating looks for clients who embrace that style. Creating color that enhances each cut or curl individually.

I specialize in natural hair, makeup artistry, custom color, and creating looks that help each guest feel confident, polished, and completely themselves.
My career has taken me from a bridal team in St. Thomas to Detroit fashion shows and industry events like London Fashion Week.
Behind the chair, I’m the kind of stylist who genuinely listens, values healthy hair, and pays attention to the details. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free experience where you feel seen, heard, and excited about the way you look.
